it is so awesome being a mom....my kids Sanaa and Ansh are my pride and joy........while i was growing up ,i had always imagined myself to be a doctor.....never as a mom. i knew i would be a mum sometime...but i never really thought about it........
4 years back when i held Sanaa in my arms in the labour room at sir ganga ram hospital,i knew the earth had moved. atleast for me.she became the centre of my universe in that one instant.....and continues to be so.......... now she shares it with Ansh and i must say she's very generous and magnanimous for a 4 year old.......she has the thought process of a mini adult...:):):)
life is a balancing act for women..... its just too easy being a male.....wake up get ready go to work.....return, eat dinner, watch tv and crash. for women its wake up, feed baby, put him to sleep in other room, wake elder kid, get her ready without making her cry, pack her bag,send her to school.....go to gym,give baby bath, get ready, go to work, return to play with the kids, send them to play,go to clinic, pick grocery,return home, put one kid to bed, then the other , dinner,then crash.
ReplyDeletethe joy of being a woman lies in being a mom..... i know nothing can equal the feeling of your childern running to you with arms open and a big smile on their faces saying mummmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! it makes everything so very worth it.
ReplyDeleteansh now walks and holds my finger, takes me to where he wants to go......his favourite haunt is the chocolate cupboard......:):)he then paints his face with chocolate...i'm gonna load a picture of that soon......
sanaa has become a really sensible girl.....its amazing to watch her blossom into such a well reasoned child.....
